My objective in all the work I do is to help people achieve their full potential and inspire a love of learning.


I provide workshops at Oak Corner in Pickmere a beautiful plot of nature, shared with buzzards, field mice, frogs, spiders and other wildlife!


From my office based in Nantwich I provide 1-1 assessments and sessions with strategies to help children and adults of all ages. As a specialist in ADHD, dyslexia, autism, mental health, co-ordination and balance difficulties - majority of the people I support experience some difficulties with these.  


Reading with Roxy was first developed in 2020 and has been redeveloped as a pioneering responsive website application in 2026, designed to transform reading online into an interactive, safe experience. With beautiful Roxy my dog at the heart of it, her empathic avatar has been developed to harness the comfort and emotional connection she portrays in real life to support my global mission to help children all around the world to read!

Roxy

About me, Roxy!

From the day I was born, I was always an adventurous puppy. Farmer Rob used to say I was cheeky. As soon as I could run, I used to find the best escape route from the pen and the other puppies would follow me. Every day he had to build the fence higher and higher!


I love my mum and the rest of my human family. They take me on adventures all the time to: parks, fields, towns, villages, beaches, woods and even on buses and trains. My favourite adventure of all is swimming in the river!


I have done Animal Assisted Learning and Therapy from the age of 12 weeks, have achieved KC Bronze level to show my obedience and been a mum to 2 beautiful litters of puppies.


I am super excited to be part of Reading with Roxy in 1-1 sessions at Lisa's office, on the road with the Roxy Roadshow or online to help children all over the world to learn to read and enjoy reading along with me!

Hi, I’m Philippa. I’m a content creator who loves bringing ideas to life through photos, videos and anything social. I focus on making content that's valuble to people all over the world.


I keep up with the latest trends and algorithms across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, and I’ve spent over five years creating content for both B2C and B2B audiences. Travel and meeting new people inspires a lot of my creativity!


I am creating and developing global partnerships to offer our Reading with Roxy project to children living in under-represented regions and communties.

Ben

Experience:

  • Helped to create and develop workshops for children and teenagers  for our lottery funded “Team building for Teens” Project and Family Workshops.
  • Planned and been lead chef for creative campfire cooking, inpsiring children to cook.
  • I have constructed and deconstructed large tents, tippee's, marque's, bars, stretch and sperry tent structures for large scale commercial events. These included Glastonbury, Red Bull Hardline, Taste of London and Creamfields. 
  • I have done extensive bar work across multiple festivals such as Love Saves the Day, Shambala and Glastonbury, whilst also having years of experience within a pub and restaurant. 

I love creating spaces that are both comforting and motivating, where positivity thrives, and learning feels more natural. 


I always focus on providing a friendly atmosphere, of which people of any age can embrace these thoughtfully designed experiences. 


The creative and innovative aspects to my work are prominent as I love gamifying activities and incorporating music.


I am building partnerships with Non Governmental Organisations and schools in under-represented communities around the world to establish Reading with Roxy as a global gold standard for inclusive and safe online learning.

With Education for Life CIC I can offer learning experiences for children and adults of any age at Oak Corner or the Growing Garden. I use: bush craft, team building, fire lighting, tree climbing permaculture and tracking skills. These help to improve appreciation and joy of being in the natural world. With a teaching background, I can combine the natural world with aspects of subjects such as language, maths, and science to inspire and develop learning for all ages.

A little bit about myself:

Firstly, let me just share that school was a difficult and unhappy place for me to be. It wasn’t until I was in my twenty’s, when I went into further education, that my disabilities were recognised, and I was given support to help me learn and achieve.

This has enabled me to work within a profession which I am passionate about.

Children and Young People, helping them to become the best they can be. To be Healthy, Happy and Safe.
